About this experience

Make this holiday season a little more magical — and a lot more chocolatey. In this one-of-a-kind workshop, you’ll  make your own treats and fill an Advent calendar. Hand-paint colorful bonbons, roll rich truffles, and dip and decorate a mix of confections to tuck behind each numbered window — 25 tiny treasures to count down December in the sweetest way possible.

While your chocolates set, you’ll assemble and personalize your calendar, adding your own creative touches to make it truly yours. This special workshop is part chocolate-making, part holiday crafting, and all fun. You’ll head home with a finished Advent calendar ready to gift or enjoy yourself. The hard part will be waiting until December 1 to open the first door!

We provide all supplies and equipment for the class. Aprons are provided and we suggest wearing something machine washable. Please avoid perfume as it can affect your chocolate tasting.

Level: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate  Suitable for ages 12 and up with adult supervision

Ticketing Information: Our chocolate classes require significant advance preparation and stocking. Events and classes are refundable up to four days before the class/event. Until the day of the event you can opt to receive an in-store credit minus 15% of your ticketed fee. Day-of cancellations are eligible for a 50% in-store credit. Classes require a minimum of four persons to operate. Should a class be cancelled due to attendance or other unforeseen reasons by Tandem Chocolates you will receive a full refund of your registration fee.

Instructed by some of the most respected chocolatiers in Europe and Canada, Phyllis brings her knowledge and passion to Reno to offer a unique culinary experience through her award-winning confectionery shop, Tandem Chocolates. She has been recognized on various occasions by the International Chocolate Salon for her outstanding bonbon and bar creations.
