Learn the artisan craft of creating your very own hand-painted bonbons. Participants will learn all of the required steps of crafting fine chocolates.

Class begins with a lesson in preparing our molds and the cocoa butter for painting in our molds. A variety of techniques will be practiced to create your own signature chocolate.

We'll then create our chocolate shells piping tempered chocolate into molds and then empty the molds to create the perfect thin shell. While the chocolate is setting, Chocolatier, Phyllis Robinson, will demonstrate making ganache for piping in the shells. Each participant will then get to pipe ganache into their molds to fill the bonbons.

While we're waiting for the ganache to set in order to close the bonbons for packing, we'll do a mini-chocolate tasting.

Each participant will take home a total of 24 bonbons, tempering instructions and the class recipe.

Light refreshments are provided.

Ticketing Information: Our chocolate classes require significant advance preparation and stocking. Events and classes are refundable up to four days before the class/event. Until the day of the event you can opt to receive an in-store credit minus 15% of your ticketed fee. Day-of cancellations are eligible for a 50% in-store credit. Classes require a minimum of four persons to operate. Should a class be cancelled due to attendance or other unforeseen reasons by Tandem Chocolates you will receive a full refund of your registration fee.
