Experience the artisan craft of creating your very own hand-painted bonbons. Participants will learn the required steps of crafting fine chocolates.

Class begins with a lesson in preparing our molds and the cocoa butter for painting in our molds. A variety of techniques will be practiced before creating your own signature chocolate style. We'll discuss pre-crystallizing (tempering) cocoa butter to achieve shine and snap.

Next create chocolate shells by filling the painted with tempered chocolate and then quickly emptying the molds to create the perfect thin shell.

Complete your signature bonbons with a selection of seasonal ganache fillings to pipe into your shells.

Each participant will take home their custom 24-piece bonbon collection.

Aprons and gloves will be provided. Chocolate does have a way of getting in the most unusual of places so please wear something machine washable. This class is held in our production kitchen so please no loose hair or strong perfume. Light refreshments are provided.

Ticketing Information: Our chocolate classes require significant advance preparation and stocking. Events and classes are refundable up to four days before the class/event. Until the day of the event you can opt to receive an in-store credit minus 15% of your ticketed fee. Day-of cancellations are eligible for a 50% in-store credit. Classes require a minimum of four persons to operate. Should a class be cancelled due to attendance or other unforeseen reasons by Tandem Chocolates you will receive a full refund of your registration fee.
